These are the best cookies ever! >> Watch << when I made them for my dad (but forgot he doesn't eat dairy)...oops. More 🍪🍪 for me! And now, I'm sharing them with you.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp pur vanilla extract 
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together butter, white and brown sugars until combined (If using a mixer, use the flat beater attachment).
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
  • Add chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Use a medium cookie scoop, evenly space your cookies on your cookie sheets.
  • Bake cookies in preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until they are barely starting to turn brown.
  • Let them sit on the baking pan a few minutes.
  • Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack.

** You can use your favorite kind of chocolate as long as you keep it to 2 cups.
