These are the best cookies ever! >> Watch << when I made them for my dad (but forgot he doesn't eat dairy)...oops. More ūüć™ūüć™ for me! And now, I'm sharing them with you.


  • 1¬†cup¬†salted butter,¬†softened
  • 1¬†cup sugar
  • 1¬†cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 2¬†tsp¬†pur vanilla extract¬†
  • 2¬†large¬†eggs
  • 3¬†cups all-purpose flour
  • 1¬†tsp baking soda
  • ¬Ĺ¬†tsp baking powder
  • 1¬†tsp salt
  • 2¬†cups chocolate chips


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Line cookie¬†sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together butter, white and brown sugars until combined (If using a mixer, use the flat beater attachment).
  • Beat¬†in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
  • Add chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Use a medium cookie scoop, evenly space your cookies on your cookie sheets.
  • Bake cookies in preheated oven for¬†about 8-10¬†minutes until they are barely starting to turn brown.
  • Let them sit on the baking pan¬†a few minutes.
  • Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack.

** You can use your favorite kind of chocolate as long as you keep it to 2 cups.
